Auburn went into the game against LSU a slight underdog but came out as the unquestioned victor.

The Auburn Tigers dominated the LSU Tigers in a 48-11 win, carried by quarterback Bo Nix’s 381 yards. Defensively, they completely shut down the LSU run game, holding them to 35 rushing yards.

After the game, LSU coach Ed Orgeron said they’re going to have to look at tape to figure out what went wrong. He also mentioned that he is constantly monitoring his coaching staff’s performance but will give people an entire season before he makes decisions.

Auburn’s record increased to 4-2 while LSU fell to 2-3. Auburn will get the chance to rest after the LSU week before returning from the bye to face Mississippi State on the road.
