            Birmingham man missing for more than a week found safe

            UPDATE: Authorities on Thursday said Antonio Kirksey has been found unharmed.

            EARLIER: A 22-year-old Birmingham man has been missing for more than a week, and police are asking for the public to be on the lookout for him.

            Family members believe Antonio Kirksey suffers from an undiagnosed mental condition. He is known to walk to Railroad Park, Tarrant and Bessemer.

            Kirksey is a black male, 5-feet, 5-inches tall and weighs 125 pounds. He was last known to be wearing a red, white and blue striped windbreak with green sweatpants.

            Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Birmingham Police Department’s Special Victims Unit at 205-705-9732 or 911. Tips can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777.
