Pregnant woman missing in Jefferson County for 6 days found safe

            Lashaundra Denise Crumb

Lashaundra Denise Crumb (Jefferson County Sheriff's Office)

UPDATE: Lashaundra Denise Crumb has been found safe.

EARLIER: Authorities are searching for a missing Birmingham woman who is eight months pregnant.

Lashaundra Denise Crumb was last seen Oct. 30 when she left a home on Belgium Avenue. Family and friends have been searching since then and are concerned for her well-being.

Crumb left home about 7:30 p.m. Friday in a silver , 2010 four-door Toyota Camry with tag number OR6A6. She was wearing black clothing.

Her grandmother, Nellie Crumb, said her grandaughter and her grandaughter’s boyfriend had been at a relative’s house. She dropped her boyfriend off at another relative’s house and she said she was going. Her boyfriend said when he returned home, she wasn’t there.

Lashuandra Crumb works in the officer at Rooms To Go in Hoover and, at this point in her pregnancy, should be going to weekly doctor visits. She does not have a cell phone because hers is broken. She had plans to buy a new one but disappeared before she did so, her grandmother said.

"It’s very unlikely that Shaun would not call us,'' Nellie Crumb said.

Crumb also has ties to the Fultondale and Gardendale communities. Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 205-325-1450.
